I think most of you could probably guess what they're like, quite a bit more Vox'y with a nice chime to the clean, a lot less headroom and a cut in volume which is what I wanted to achieve. OD is nice but with a different flavour, almost Marshally.
Overall something worth a try but changes the amp a lot. If the band ever get a new vocalist I'll try it out at rehearsal. I think it won't be as well behaved with pedals as the 6L6's but we'll see. |
