Hey guys has anyone succesfully installed an aftermarket tube buffered loop kit into an OTS?

yeah i hear you. Ive got an fm me 50w with the clator built into the cab. Im looking for a less intrusive, lighter, built in option for the new S&M i have being built.

I talked to my amp tech about this when I got my HRM and he said it made a lot more sense with these amps to just go the external loop box route. I also hate the extra complexity but it comes with the territory with these amps.

after my amp tech built the S&M he said he could squeeze the London Power kit into the chassis and use one of the unused (its a 50 watt) tube sockets to hang the 12ax7 out of and use 2 mini pots for send and return levels on the far right of the rear panel of the chassis.

i'll keep you posted.

You would be better off punching the chassis between the OD and PI preamp tube and doing it PTP. Take your B+ from the first Screen Node, drop it, and then add your 2 Loop B+ stages (Plate and Cathode follower).

Having the Tube loop will definitely make things more grab and go. Just be aware of the right lead dress.

Not a ceriatone, but this is how I do it in my amps:
