And Nik will supply them at reduced cost (he gets the volume discount and passes it on). Thats what I've done with my Plexi 50 build, paid Nik two amounts via PP, one for the kit and one for the MM's. Kit from Malaysia and MM's direct from US. Couldn't have been simpler.

I have asked about a dual primary OT for 6v6's and 6L6's but nothing at the moment. Will keep asking.

That's a smart thing.
I think the trannies MM offer are insane expensive, Nik is a smart guy to do it like that.

Exactly, you'll be charged with Vat etc - much easier to order within the EU  Sad

Often wondered what the difference will be with a really good set of trannies. look forward to hearing some clips!

I got MM for my Plexi build but will have nothing to compare them with.

I will :-)

@ blues. I think I do not need to pay VAT if the total packge is less then $100. Couldn't find a Heyboer OT in Europe. besides I wouldn't know which one to order. I read some post on the ampgarage and I thought what the heck I'll just ask Bludo to ship me an OT and I'll worry about the rest later.

I feel I need to post a clip with my setup but I'm a bit shy ;-)
and I need to find the time.

If we have unified rules in the EU then it is $32.

I'm sure Erwin will record something using you amp Grin

And what was the additional cost for the MMs and in your opinion, was it worth it (assuming you are able to compare the stock magnetics with the MMs)?

I haven't had much time recently so the amp (Plexi 50) isn't even built yet and I won't have chance to A/B it with stock.
