Title: TC Nova Reverb with OTS
Post by: JEDMON01 on December 02, 2008, 04:08:42 PM
Following on from my antics with a Quadraverb last week I now have a TC Electronics Nova Reverb to try with OTS.
Heard Paul Garner ( excellent blues guitarist ) , with one of these last week and the house s/f bassman amp. Very nice wide sound, and it will take +16dBu input signal. So here is the music room test.

As before the reverb is exaggerated by the brick-wall limiter on the video camera. I have played to a track to stop the volume pumping. Also appologise about the toppy Fender Champ XD 10" speaker, too lazy to get a cab out of the garage  ;D

Won't know until I gig it with a band tonight if it's a keeper, but I have high hopes this time  ;D.  If it's OK I'll put up a decent video in the sound clips area.

Good news. The TC Nova delays not only works fine in my OTS loop it didn't suck my tone. Perfect.
I'll upload some mp3 of the gig when it has been mixed  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I had a look at your Alesis thread as well. Now I understand what was your issue with this.
Good for you and thanks for sharing.

Just for the record... I use my Klein even if I have no effect in loop (which is almost all the time). Just can't survive without it, even if it's bulky.

Hmm Very interesting....
Kein-ulator without any FX connected.
What do yo think it adds to the sound ?

To me, the tone is even smother with the Klein in the loop. It has this way of rounding top end in a very pleasant way.
So, even more of that famous D tone.
