Title: TC Nova in the loop?
Post by: Mondoslug on April 21, 2008, 11:52:48 AM
Since the Nova supposedly automatically calibrates it's levels somehow...anybody try one in the loop sans D*mbleator?

TIA!

The gamble here would be if it can handle the signal level that would come from the Overtone's preamp out or if its really only designed to handle an instrument level signal. The specs on the website list the Max input level as - "TBD dBu". Unless thats stands for something else, I'm thinking that means "To be determined"?

Maybe someone has tried it in an unbuffered loop and can comment or maybe you can email TC Support, but based on that I would just keep it before the amp.

Thanks, I've used it in the loop of a Badger & Naylor & it seems fine...both of those are buffered though. I was just curious how it'll go with the Overtone, guess I'll find out as soon as UPS shows up today though. :)

The Timefactor worked ok in the loop by seting the return to Line level.
