i'm new here...been reading and listening for some time. I save money for my ODS. Q. is : If i put 16 ohm speaker in box and turn impedance selector on 4 ohm is that mean that the power would be a 12.5 w ? Tnx So, no problem runing a 16 ohm speaker with anny combination 4, 8, or 16. Would be a diferences in tone quality ? Any other setting and you risk damaging your amp.

response will be eminent. A slight mismatch can provide a darker smoother tone with a little less output and attack. This response is a result of the amplifier running a bit cooler.
