I've played some gigs lately with my Overtone S&M.
I have it since 2 years ago and I'm VERY satisfied.

The problem is that, my favorite settings for play on the Overdrive channel are very low gains (not too dirty overdrive).
I need more volume on the OD channel (actually RATIO) and I don't know how to push it more without pushing the clean volume.

Let me explain that my Overdrive Channel comes very pushed from the factory (when I'm about to 3 on Level, it becomes too heavy). If you think that I should change the Trim Pots, let me know please.

My settings are (notice the ratio on 10):

Volume   Treble    Mids    Bass   Overdrive Level  Ratio      Master    Presence
    6            6          5        5                 2             10           3             2

So my question is..... Can I get equal volume between the cleans and the OD channel doing somewhat??
The amp sounds AWESOME on that settings and I'm getting the tone that I want, but the clean is too loud.

Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks for your help and greetings from Spain.

I use a volume pedal. works fantastically.  Don't get the kind that use a potentiometer to reduce volume, they suck tone badly at less than full volumes unless modified.

Sounds to me that you should mess with your overdrive trim pot a little as it reduces gain and volume of the OD channel.

Change 180k OD inlet resistor (marked  with X and goes to a ratio pot’s X terminal) to 68k (more drive volume), change 0,005 cap to 0,01 behind the above mentioned resistor(fatter drive tone). Also reduce V1’s 150k slope resistor to 100 or 68k – more liquid, compressed clean and drive tone. Your amp will sound much better than now.
Cheers

You should not have to change anything inside the amp (the trim pots in the amp were preset when the amp was built by Ceriatone)

Its easier to balance the levels of the amp with the use of a Dumbleator in the FX Loop.

Try these settings though:

Volume: 10:00
Treble: 12:00
Mid: 12:00
Bass: 10:00
OD Level: 10:00
OD Ratio: 12:00
Master: Usually set around 10:00, though you can set it to the desired Volume.
Presence: 11:00
