I have been experiencing some preamp tube/can ringing.  It seems only certain notes (C,A) on certain settings (overdrive), generate a certain frequency that makes the  tubes sing.   Has anyone else experienced these sounds and how did you correct the problem.  I've tried taking the covers off  (Worse) and also tightening the springs (No change).   I've seen that fender has a shock mount they install on the 57 Twin and was wondering if anyone else has tried to address this problem.

Try swapping the offending tube, it might be becoming microphonic. If you tap the glass lightly with a pencil do you get a sound thro the speaker? If yes then I'd say replace the tube.
