hi guys,
i use a large open backed cab for my Overtone which has space on the top for 3 1U rack units........one has the TC Electronics G Sharp in it and i am wondering if Nik has any desire to build the Kleinulator into a rack unit.   i already have the Kleinulator and love it , but it would be a lot easier to use and transport if it were in rack form.  Any of you know about this???

I asked Nik about this a couple of days ago. He's got no plans to make a rack mount unit but he will sell you a kit of parts to mount it in your own rack box. This is what I intend to do with, if I can figure it out, a footswitcheable hard bypass.  I'm going to rip a boss type 9v DC wall wart apart and install that in the rack box so that it is mains powered and I intend fitting a 9v DC socket on the rear panel to chain other pedals of it if I need to.

I just need to find a rack box that is quite shallow so it can go in the rear of my rack unit.

Hewlg-

I'd advise against ripping a Boss PSU apart- they're pretty pants (english term for crap) and you'd be better off getting a decent 9v regulated supply from Maplins, or I've had much success with an i-spot 9v supply which can deliver a whopping 1.6 amps regulated... (think visual sound do 'em) or if you've got the £££'s check this out... and it'll power just about everything...
