Title: Plex cab for my OTS Post by: django8 on July 18, 2008, 02:33:45 AM I built my cabinet out of colored acrylic with polished edges. The rock'n'roll bug is a Rick Griffin cartoon that I silkscreened on the front.

Obviously you know the ins and outs of acrylic. This thing is not going to melt, is it?? Title: Re: Plex cab for my OTS Post by: django8 on July 21, 2008, 10:21:32 PM Jeez, I hope not... guess it depends on how hot my licks are! ;)

Title: Re: Plex cab for my OTS Post by: ChrisL on July 22, 2008, 05:50:48 AM Looks great man. There is a risk of it getting noisy in some joints from poor lighting but in my experience (my OT has a plexi window) it should be fine.

Just take a look at any old Fender. Some circuits are more prone to interference than others.
Title: Re: Plex cab for my OTS Post by: django8 on July 23, 2008, 12:08:16 AM Yeah, I was told that interference from fluorescent lights etc. might be a problem. But I like seeing the guts of the amp, so I'll deal with that if it comes up. So far it hasn't.
