Hello everyone,

I've got a really annoying problem with my Ceriatone HRM 50.

The volume-level started to change while playing with my band some time ago. From time to time the amp got louder - gain also raised massively. It also started to feedback microphonically.
I took the amplifier to my tech, who changed the preamp tubes. Everything seemed to be fine after this, but now, just two weeks later, the same problem appeared again.
Obviously the main problem is not fixed.

1.) Any idea what it could be?
2.) I am looking for a qualified tech, who could be able to find the main reason for this hardware fault in germany. Any recommendations?

Thanks a lot

Have you tried new output tubes? Checked to see what the bias is set at? When the volume jumps and it starts to feedback are you able to walk over and check to see if the output tubes are red plating? That's a few things you can check pretty easily.

Overdrive is like peanut butter. Some like it crunchy, some like it creamy.
Bluesmaster 50 2x12 combo and some guitars.
