Title: Pickmaster, clarification please Post by: NitPicker on January 18, 2009, 12:04:27 AM In your modifications, you talk about 3 way switches, are they 3 position switches, that is the centre position is neutral, ie none of the capacitors are in the circuit?
Thanks Aj Title: Re: Pickmaster, clarification please Post by: hywelg on January 18, 2009, 12:23:36 PM Three way switches just give you one more option and those Pickmaster used are termed ON-OFF-ON DPDT (dual pole dual throw) switches. So in the middle position the common is connected to nothing.

Title: Re: Pickmaster, clarification please Post by: hywelg on January 18, 2009, 07:12:31 PM There is another common arrangement which might well be usefull in a situation like this when switching caps, its an ON-ON-ON DPDT. In the middle position the common is connected to BOTH.
