Title: PAB mod to lower volume jump? Post by: docmh on May 10, 2009, 06:18:04 PM Hi,
When I engage the PAB on my OTS special. The volume jump is so significant, I never use it. I know it's a boost, but is there a way to get the tonal difference, but keep it in the volume range of the amp when the PAB it is off? I'd like to be able to play the amp an all modes, but without the huge volume jump when the PAB is engaged. Title: Re: PAB mod to lower volume jump? I tried it with my OTS and the jump is a little smaller but it's still a boost. ;) Title: Re: PAB mod to lower volume jump? Post by: JD0x0 on May 11, 2009, 02:13:09 AM adjust your tonestack higher. for example if your treble, middle, and bass were at 5,6,6 try 6/7,8,8. if you dime TMB you will get a very small PAB but if you keep them very low you will get a bigger boost
