I listened again to this great recording of Fleetwood Mac playing at the 1970 Boston Tea Party. The sounds Peter Green and Danny Kirwan are getting out of their cranked Fender Silverface Dual Showman stacks is just to die for! So... who did crank the clean channel of their Overtones? How does it sound compared to the overdrive channel? As those cranked Showmans soun nothing like the thick creamy Dumblesque overdrive...!
