Hi, new guy here
Just got the ODS kit and have a question
first off, I have built a couple of amps now both Weber amps
I've always wanted an ODS but I thought I would start out with something easier to see if I could do it without killing myself.Well I'm still here and both amps sound great.
I'm buildling these without fully understanding everything but I love it
my first question is probably a stupid one but what the hey

On the layout the wire coming from the first tab on the Master volume pot joins the wire coming from the second tab, is this correct? And if so could I not just jumper the two tabs?
and for the others that splice into another wire, How are you guys splicing these together?
Do I strip away some of the insulation and join the two or cut seperate wires?

these questions sound kind of dumb but....I'm a newbie and I'm learning

Thanks
Tim

No you cannot just put a jumper between those spots. The wire used there should be a shielded wire. That connection on the "T" that shows a little circle indicates that you will connect the first tab to the sheilded part of the wire. If you notice that first tab is connected to the bus bar up above.
