All who bought an amp from Nik .... we all know he's a good guy. To good and we have a prove now with this COS amp.

...and anybody expecting, that information published on a public forum is not going to be used is just plain stupid. It's a WORLD WIDE WEB people....

...anyway we have a good guy here providing an awesome tone to the people who can't afford the big $$$$$$ amps... what's wrong with that

damn, sorry for this monologue just letting some steam out...

Dear all,

Welcome. I think this forum is a good idea for discussion, changing ideas, and such.

I would like to call for calm. It's OK to blow off your steam here I suppose.

But, in other forums, I guess it's best to refrain.

It saddens me to no end that things happened, esp it's happening again after the TW fiasco.

  Thanks!

Nik

Too bad if it's really discontinued. I frankly don't see the issue since there are about a dozen ODS amps out there currently...

Hey, we must think alike. I have similar Ceriatone amps: 5e3, jtm45, liverpull, 18w tmb ef86. I'm curious, How do you like your bf champ? I was thinking about that one.
I love Nik's amps. I'm actually thinkin of getting his jcm800 and plexi 50 to see how they compare to my originals. If I do, based on how my others have sounded, I'll be selling my originals!

Cool

The BF champ is great, but I find it to be a LOT louder than the 1966-ish BF fender champ I used to have.

They sound quite similar (still, I can't A/B them since I don't have the 66 champ anymore), but the ceriatone has more break up when cranked.

do you find enough of a difference between the bf champ and the 5e3 tweed to justify owning both of them?
