I'm new to the forum and was just recently introduced to Ceriatone amps so I'm gathering info

I'm considering building the kit for the OTS Lunchbox 20 - also have my eye on the Blackstar Artist 30 but I've long been a fan of Robben Ford & Larry Carlton's tone and to have a chance to build an amp that was designed after the Dumble is very inviting. I was an electronic bench repair tech for over 20 years so building the kit shouldn't be a problem.

Is the OTS Lunchbox 20 one of those tube amps that has to be cranked to get a good tone from it? That's always been one of the drawbacks to using a tube amp mainly for personal use.

Many thanks in advance
