ah ok. I think my amps sounds very boxy when you hit the PAB switch.
When you put a 8ohm cab on a 4 ohm output tap, the clean PAB isn't boxy anymore.

Hi Erwin
can that damge anything? I have an 8 Ohm cab with 2 Celestion g12-65 speakers (16 ohm each)

You can always 'mismatch' a tube amp 100%.

E.g. If your amp has an 4 ohm tap only, you can run it with both a 2 ohm cabinet or an 8 ohm cab.
I've run an old bassman top, which has a 4 ohm tap, for many years. No problem.

PAB is useless as it completely sucks your tone.

Solution is simple. Wind up the ODS to clean solo volume ( v=7 m=5/7 ), and use your guitar's volume control. I always set up my gear with my guitar on "7" to give me more than I need. It will also gets over the problem of the bridge p/u ( Strat/Tele ) being too quiet. So maybe 7 = rhythm 8= neck solo 9 =  bridge solo 10 = loud solo etc ......    If you have a bleed cap on the guitar volume pot remove it as it will change your tone. If you loose your top end on "7" then buy a better guitar lead, maybe Elixir.
Same thing for o/d tones except your guitars volume control also becomes a drive control.   7 = crunchy rhythm 8 = cleanish solo   9 =  o/d solo 10 = very o/d solo.
One knob can do so much and it's 1" from your right hand !
