The OD trimpot, set to one side, is supposed to be "more Marshall." My question is what Marshall sound? 60s JMP Marshall... JCM Marshall?

Thanks

I'm still pretty sure I'm buying a Ceriatone but I'd really like to get your input on this one.

Sounding like a marshall?? Turning the trimpot too high makes the amp gainy, fuzzy, non dynamic and over-the-top-compressing. Plain ugly if you ask me Undecided

Yeah Marshally at least. I've heard many quotes saying the trimpot turned to one side sounds a bit more Marshall and the other side, more compressed and Robben Ford-like. Anyway, I'm guessing from that description that we're talking a JCM style distortion.
