After some small communications with Nik, placed my order for Overtone special today. As I have built furniture, gun stocks, and other items for many years, I ordered the unit without cab, and will build my own.
Thought I would share one item that may be of interest to those modding the Overtones.
Nik's response to a question relating to "most current design" was, "We did change a resistor and pot value for smoother overdrive".
Suspect this is the OD level pot to 100K and pre OD resistor from 150K to 220K change that has had some discussion on this board.

Now for the next 9 weeks...

AS an added note, I have heard that the Celestion G12-65 works really well with this amp so I went shopping for one. Seems Celestion has done a reissue of this model calling it the Heritage and I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with it, or can compare to the original G12-65.

Thanks,
JT
