Title: Modern Eagle Mod?
Post by: Nairbr on February 18, 2011, 12:49:50 AM
I was looking at Nik's new lineups of OTS amps and I noticed there is a Ford Mustang Modern Eagle Mod version.
Anyone have any insight to what that may be?

Looks like a Ford amp with a lower value Master Vol bright cap (whitch should make the amp less bright), a 3way bright switch, and Local Negative Feedback switch, and a few other tweaks

Slope 100k, coupling cap after v1a 0.001uF(together with the mid cap 285pF), 10M PAB resistor.

My guess is that the amp has a more responsive tonestack; less mid heavy and the PAB has less volume jump and is overall less bright(33pF master bright) compared to the Ford Mustang.
