Title: Missing components on OD and PAB satellite boards Post by: captainbackfire on May 10, 2012, 06:52:41 AM Just got my OTS 50 kit. I was emailing Nik too but I found this problem just moments ago and emailed him.
The small boards doesn't contain anything on their sockets. The "coil"(as labeled on layout) rectangular box thing aren't really listed on the parts list so apparently they should come installed on the little boards. > What are these? > Why dont I have it on my kit > What can I do at this point Lol.. It's very hard to tell what exactly you're reffering to.

Yes they are indeed the relays. Those two smallest boards.. on upper right hand of this pic here. Beside the octal sockets. There should be 2 rectangular box like components with a pinout that'll fit those sockets in one of the bags of parts. Then it's just a matter of determining the correct orientation of insertion - I ended up doing a google search for the technical docs of the part - it was easy once I had that.
