So I'm really loving my OTS.  It's by far the sweetest amp I've ever owned. One thing I'd like to do is increase the brightness (especially on the OD channel) when the bright switch is off.  I would even be open to having three different levels.  The reason is this: When I want to get a classic fendery sound out of the amp i flip the bright switch on and it nails it with my strats.  However, sometimes, especially with my Rocketfire total 60's strat pups it just sounds a little dark to me.  What I'm looking for out of my amp when the bright switch is off is a sort of mellow Mayerish type of sound.  I'm really not far off, I'd just like it to be a touch brighter is all.  Where do you guys think I should start?

I have the standard ots.  And I should mention that i mostly play the clean channel and use a tube screamer and or king of tone for od.  I haven't  been able to really bond with the amps OD channel.  When I do switch on the od channel it does seem to get even darker though.

Ultimately the two main sounds I'm after are SRV's sounds from The Dumbleland he
 used to record texas flood and john mayers clean tones from tracks like the wind cries mary.  I've been looking into mods and trying to read but I am just lost in all of the information, schematics etc.  Could someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks for the replies.  Stevie's unique sound on Texas Flood came from the Dumbleland amp that he used to record it.  It's different from the sounds he got once he purchased his own SSS.  I will certainly be on the waiting list for one of those when nik finally releases it anyway.  However I do think I can achieve the sounds out of the amp i currently have because, to be honest, I'm not that far away.  Right now I'm fighting with alot of inconsistency which I believe is coming from inconsistent voltage but I also think the amp can be tweaked to get what I'm looking for.  It would be great if some of the gurus who know the inside of this amp and have modded it would chime in.
