Last couple of weeks I had my od trimmer on 10'o clock.  But after doing a few gigs with it, I just couldnt get that last little of extra juice when picking real hard. As if there was no difference between picking hard and really hard.

So today I changed it to somewhere between 11 en 12' o clock. And the whole range is dynamic now, including picking really hard is making the extra juice.

I tested with the amp open and very carefully turned the pot until
I found a sweet spot, the amp suddenly changed tone and became
really fat.
So I left the pot where I felt the tone was the best, around 12 o'clock.

Caution if you don't know voltages, don't use this method!

when we say we have it at 10 oclock or what ever, from what angle are we looking at it? i would say mine is at 2 and it sounds awsome, not dynamic in any way though. well, no more than  a marshall.

It is looking from the FET board to the Power tran.
If you turn it you should notice the difference as described in the opening post.

Hi, I am also unsure as to which side of the trim pot you are to look at to determine clockwise direction, as the slot is visible from either side. Is it from the right hand side as depicted in Erwin's photo? thanks

Im wondering if the trim pot can be adjusted when the amp is up and running so I can play and hear changes?
as long as Im careful not to touch anything else I should be ok right?
