I plugged my electric into the FET to see if it really is bad and now niether chanels work, they just crackle. IT sounds like a dodgy conection to me so i will have a look when it has cooled down but just in case its not, what do you think could be wrong?

Another thing, at this time, my signal cut out, so i changed the lead (it made a soud as i cahnged the leads) only to find that the other end of the lead was still pluged into my other amp. Could this have been a problem?

Masking tape over the FET input is the only mandatory mod on the Overtone...lol.
