I cannot get a response from the specific area for this. Can anyone recommend a good tech in the southern U.S. to get in touch with. My 2008 OTS 50 watt has blown yet another power transformer. I cannot get a straight answer about exactly which part is the replacement one from Ceriatone and local techs are stumped. I have tried 3 from the list on Ceriatone's service center site and they no longer are doing it. Please help. I need to be able to speak to someone who is reputable and knows want they are doing,

This reply may be too late but thought I'd answer anyway.

You can use the following transformer. You must remove the bottom cover to fit the chassis cutout.

or
http://www.mojotone.com/amp-parts/transformers/Blackface-Showman-Twin-Reverb-Power-Transformer#.U6sI2KiE450

Other twin reverb/showman spec transformers will work. Same thing applies about removing bottom cover.
Fender reissue twin reverb transformer would need to be wired differently.

You will also need a transformer for the relay circuit since the twin reverb transformer doesn't have the extra 6.3 volt tap.
This one fits in the pre drilled holes of the chassis. Should be in stock at the local store.

or

Someone will have to check if there are other problems causing the transformer to blow.

Mercury Magnetics sells a transformer set specifically for the ceriatone OTS 50 watt amps - http://www.mercurymagnetics.com/pages/mainframe.htm

I don't know if this is still the case, but Nik was a dealer for them a few years ago - contact him about this - I was able to buy a transformer set from them via Nik at a discounted price, no international shipping (these things are HEAVY!!!)

But as tenguitars says you really need to find out what's causing the trannies to blow. They shouldn't, and if everything is working properly will last nearly forever.
