Title: HRM BM100 Deep switch wiring is wrong on the layout drawing Post by: Vine on October 09, 2010, 04:04:44 AM If you are building the HRM BluesMaster 100, the wiring diagram on the layout drawing is wrong for the Deep Switch. The top 2 contacts and components need to be flipped with the bottom two contacts and components on the DPDT switch to get it to engage in the up position.

Deep: On is down Mid: On is Up hmm a bit annoying. I can see this cannot be fixed without professional quality soldering, beyond my skill level Title: Re: HRM BM100 Deep switch wiring is wrong on the layout drawing Post by: Emiel on October 10, 2010, 03:28:23 PM Same here with my OTS... pity you can't simply rotate the switch..!
It is a nice effect though, I use it a lot. Title: Re: HRM BM100 Deep switch wiring is wrong on the layout drawing Post by: Vine on October 27, 2010, 04:22:28 AM Yes it is a bit tricky. You have to take the resistors attached to the top two contacts and move them to the bottom 2 contacts. Vice versa for the resistors and cap on the bottom two contacts. Those get moved to the top two contacts. Once you have a tech do that the switch will work in the up position.
Title: Re: HRM BM100 Deep switch wiring is wrong on the layout drawing Post by: sduck on November 07, 2010, 06:52:19 AM I presume from the pictures posted that the current (October 19 2010) layout for the BM 50w is also wrong. I hope this is the case; as I just wired my BM kit deep switch upside down on purpose. I hope it works right!
