Title: How long was your wait to get the amp? Post by: casken on July 08, 2008, 04:30:00 PM Of those who recently received their amps, how long did you wait? My order was 12 weeks ago today. I was wondering if I am getting close?

Dumbleseeker, do let us newbies know about your impressions. Title: Re: How long was your wait to get the amp? Post by: hywelg on July 09, 2008, 08:02:01 AM and I got a small mod. (Moved OD trim pot to back panel) I'd really like to see how Nik accomplished this, any possibility of a pic?. I did this mod myself but would possibly have done it differently if I did it again. I wonder if he used shielded cable? I did but it might not have needed it. Title: Re: How long was your wait to get the amp? Post by: Luithien on July 10, 2008, 08:22:10 PM and I got a small mod. No time to plug it in yet, but will soon. I can snap some pics of the OD mod on back panel once I get a chance...looks pretty slick. JT Title: Re: How long was your wait to get the amp? Post by: hywelg on July 10, 2008, 10:11:05 PM Please plug it in and play before you take the photos. Take the photos when the neighbours start to complain, just to give them a 10 minute break!!
Title: Re: How long was your wait to get the amp? Post by: casken on July 10, 2008, 11:56:56 PM I'd appreciate first impressions and a photo of the mod as well. I caught mine before it was out the door and Nik was great to deal with as always and I got the OD mod for mine as well. It'll sure make tweaking easier for those of us who are challenged electrically.
Nik said mine would be ready to ship tomorrow, but it might be Monday due to them having to wait on the next round of the Kleinulators. Title: Re: How long was your wait to get the amp? If I knew that few weeks ago I would sure asked Nik for this mod ! I have to mod my amp (to tame some of the high of the OD) and I think I will make this mod. I don't think I will make this mod myself, I'm not able to do them, I will certainly give my Overtone to my amp tech. Title: Re: How long was your wait to get the amp?
