Title: High Res Pics of Internals?
Post by: m0b1liz3 on May 18, 2009, 12:34:34 PM
1.) anyone have high res pics of their build?  i found the few that have been posted on this forum so far.
     i would have thought there would be way more people posting pics for troubleshooting.  (maybe there are less people building these amps than i thought?)
2.) does anyone just leave out the FET input or put something else there as a mod like a second normal input?

Hi Mcinku;
I shamelessly copied the way you wired your Deep switch, because the dress was so much neater, but after two consecutive rewiring attempts, the sound continues to only get deeper with the switch in "down" position rather than the "up" position. Is that how yours works as well? If not, can you think of what I might have done wrong?
Thanks,

Pine

Don't worry, I copied it from Nik HRM layout  ;D
You got it right... deep switch does not add even more bass but it makes it tighter... very useful in some situations.
I use it quite a lot... if room is very bassy, the deep helps with that flabby low end

Ahh thanks, I was going crazy because it sounded "thinner" with the deep switch in the "up" position
