I was upgrading my 50 W ods to 100 W, added the 2 extra octal sockets and components and got the 100 W power and output transformers. Switched it on and heaters working fine, but when standby switch was switched on a high pitched squeal came from the speakers. Replaced the original transformers but still getting the high pitched squeal, even with all controls at zero. Replaced all the valves, checked lead dress etc, but no joy.
