Title: First Build Question (voltage regulator) Post by: m0b1liz3 on May 19, 2009, 01:35:39 PM My group of 3 tabs is spaced too far apart to allow for screwing the voltage regulator into the hole in the chassis. I am guessing this is necessary to dissipate heat but I am going to have to go and buy a different spaced mounting tab in order to be to screw the regulator into the chassis. On one of the build pics it looked like the regulator was free floating in the air. Can I get away with this?
