Hi,

I'm now a proud owner of a Ceriatone Overtone Special :) This amp sounds just AMAZING!!!

Tested the knobs a bit and find a very cool John Mayer tone with my Strat (I want to share):

Volume 6
Bright UP
Deep DOWN
Rock/Jazz ROCK
Treble 6
Mid 4
Bass 6

OD:
Level 2,5
Ratio 3
Presence 4

Master Volume?

Nice when it gets loud isn't it! Hope you've got understanding neighbours.

The louder the better  ;D

I don't have understanding neighbours, I have deaf neighbours (no joke) :chairdance:
Best thing that can happen to a musician  ;)

New amp and now something like this :'( :

Played guitar as usual and suddenly my amp started to hum. It was like a feedback. I turned back the volume immediately but no difference: the hum didn't stop. So i switched the amp off.

5 minutes later i switched it on again and in the moment i turned the standby switch the powertubes glowed for a fragment of a second extremely bright and blue. Then there wasn't anything anymore, no sound, no hum, no nothing.

Is this a defect of the powertubes or can it be something else?

Something other than the poweramp valves I think, them blowing was a symptom of something else. Sounds serious, better email Nik.
