I'm now a proud owner of a Ceriatone Overtone Special :) This amp sounds just AMAZING!!! Tested the knobs a bit and find a very cool John Mayer tone with my Strat (I want to share): Volume 6 Bright UP Deep DOWN Rock/Jazz ROCK Treble 6 Mid 4 Bass 6 OD: Level 2,5 Ratio 3 Presence 4 Title: Re: Finally fulfilled my dream :) Post by: hywelg on November 18, 2008, 10:01:59 PM Master Volume?
Nice when it gets loud isn't it! Hope you've got understanding neighbours. Title: Re: Finally fulfilled my dream :) Post by: Thilo278 on November 19, 2008, 09:37:19 AM The louder the better ;D
I don't have understanding neighbours, I have deaf neighbours (no joke) :chairdance: Best thing that can happen to a musician ;) Title: Re: Finally fulfilled my dream :) Post by: dannysgrandpa on November 21, 2008, 05:44:21 AM LUCKY!!!!!!!!! Bet they didn't hear that either. ;D Rock on!!!!
Title: Re: Finally fulfilled my dream :) Post by: Thilo278 on November 21, 2008, 09:38:53 PM New amp and now something like this :'( :
Played guitar as usual and suddenly my amp started to hum. It was like a feedback. I turned back the volume immediately but no difference: the hum didn't stop. So i switched the amp off. 5 minutes later i switched it on again and in the moment i turned the standby switch the powertubes glowed for a fragment of a second extremely bright and blue. Then there wasn't anything anymore, no sound, no hum, no nothing. Is this a defect of the powertubes or can it be something else? Sounds serious, better email Nik.
