Yes I am. Put them in about a month ago. To be honest, unless you A/B them there's not much of a difference. It is there but difficult to define it. I will be swapping back to 6l6's soon and I'll try and do it after having played it for an hour or so so I can fis the tone of the El's in my mind before swapping.

Anybody using the EL 34's

I have not used EL34's in the OTS, but when I had my Super Reverb refurbished several years ago I had it set up so that I could use EL34s in it. Bottom Line? ...not much difference. I get a better break up to my ear from 6L6s. I've tried JJ KT77s in it and if you want a lot of pristine headroom (but not much character) that is the ticket. From this experience, I believe the circuit has a lot more to do with the tone than the tubes and would not waste my time on EL34s. Its always fun to experiment though.
