How does the d-later effects my sound without any effects put in the chain?
( i am happy with my boss gt-10 in front of the amp)

From what I've heard, it adds compression and is an important part of the Robben Ford sound.....

I have a Kleinulator (might be getting a Dumbleator  tomorrow)

The Klein takes out some of the brightness. Less harsh. A bit less transparant.
There is a nice thread which compares the Klein and the Dumblator.

Yeah Hans. I highly recommend visiting Erwin. I could even drop of my 19 inch Klein so you can compare it to " the real " tube thing.
(no I don't have shares in Erwins company  Grin )
