Title: Cost of a new dumble
Post by: BadSneakers on February 11, 2011, 12:48:32 PM
While some of us save for our first or next dumble clone, I thought you might be interested in seeing how much an original dumble is going for these days... Courtesy of the Gear page, check out how much this one costs... :o

The amp you posted is $100,000 because it is a very famous dumble. It was extensively tweaked by the man personally and it was used on countless famous recordings.

It has been covered in depth here:

Thanks for more of the insight regarding the amp.  Maybe we can all chip in and do a timeshare  ;D

I was always impressed with Steve Farris's tone on "Welcome To The Real World" album, that was long before I even knew what a Dumble was. ;D

Actually the price of a new dumble is about $5K and it'll cost you a tube amp. HAD no longer builds amps from scratch. He will still mod tube amps to the dumble circuit though you just need to supply the amp.
