Title: chassis Post by: guitone on May 12, 2009, 02:55:54 PM I,d like to add the other four screws in my head cab but i,m not sure if the threads are metic or sae? I,ts an alluminum ods . Also I cant find the rasied washers anywhere any suggestions ?

Metric or SAE it souldn't be difficult to match the threads. If you need black and can't find it, you can color the head with a Sharpie, Magic Marker or paint pen.
The washers are called cup washers or finish washers. You might be surprised and find them at the hardware store, too. If not, jam4jaudio is an ebay store that carries them in black or silver. Search 'speaker cabinet finish washers'. KSS 'the musician's hardware store' is an e-store that may also have these items. This type are much better as they a solid rather than pressed steel.

You can also get anodised aluminium and SS ones on ebay, search for cup washer. A lot of them are too small though.
