I just ordered the OTS (mini) Lunchbox 20 head... Woo!  While I wait for shipping and my time to put it all together I want to get started on a speaker cab for it.  I've seen people recommend speakers for the 50 and 100 watt models but I don't know where to look for the 20.

Do these amps need 12'' speakers?  I have a Celestion Gold and a Greenback (both 10'') that I have laying around.  What are some 12'' recommendations?  Keep in mind this is for the 20W amp.

If you're a Celestion guy, you might want to try a Greenback or a Blue, depending on what flavor of tone you want.  Like a 25 to 30 watt speaker.  I tend to like Weber speakers - they make Celestion style models, like the 1225 ceramic and also American style speakers, like the 12A150, a 25 or 30 watt alnico with a tweed sound and the 12F150, a 25 or 30 watt ceramic with more of a Blackface sound.  Check here -

Hope this helps.

I like 10" speakers with the OTS 20 with a closed back design and a slanted baffle that bounces the sound from the back of the speaker off the back side and out though a 'port' at the bottom. Something Ike this. You just have to add a damper board to the inside of the back to eliminate vibrations. This gives you clear, crisp lows and more headroom.
