Everyone seems to have some really nice tones and good selections.  After playing my amp some more I am building a new board.  Here is what will make the final cut:  Amp->Tuner->Wilson Freaker Wah->Fulltone OCD->Wilson Deluxe Haze Vibe with one of his Fuz Pedals built in to the same housing (prototype 1of1 should be cool!) -> Red Llama -> VanAmps SoleMate Spring Reverb Unit    ->guitar.  The I will just be running a delay in the C-Lator.  I have to sell my DD7 because it does way too much for me.  I will be using a AquaPuss I think.

That Wilson Haze Vibe/Fuzz pedal should  be awesome. I have the regular Haze Vibe ordered, should be here anytime.

My board starts with a Fulltone Clyde Deluxe>Monsterpiece STUD ( a real nice sounding Klone by Richard Coibion - great guy too!)>Timmy>Ernie Ball VP Jr 6180>100watt Ceriatone HRM BM of which I'm constantly learning more about with each gig and of course the tremendous resource of this forum. I also have a Tech MIDI mouse triggering a TC Electronics M 300 (which I'll upgrade at some point -  I use it mostly for reverb and some delay, with this amp you don't need much in the effects department for great sounds as you all know). I have the PAB on most of the time and go between the clean sound and OD depending. I use the Timmy for a slightly OD sound and the STUD for a clean boost as well as kicking the OD channel up a knotch.

Just a cool idea for you guys, but I think everyone should own a good rangemaster clone for use with their version of the OTS.  Seriously you guys, a Beano Boost or Java Boost or other "treble" booster will allow you to get all kinds of sounds when used in conjunction with the OD or pushed clean channels on the amp.  I have one (Java), and aside from a fuzz, it's the only OD on my board.

Funny you should mention that. Along with downsizing my board to just a BYOC ESV Fuzz and Boosta Grande in the front, and the space echo and holy grail in the loop, I'm actually ordering the tri boost from BYOC. Switchable Germanium Boost (rangemaster), Silicone Linear Boost, and JFET boost all in one. I think once I get that one of their wahs, and their 2 knob chorus, I'll have all I want. I've been mainly using the normal channel boosted using the Boosta Grande and Mega PAB or fuzz or all of em Wink over the OD lately.

I'm a rental, so play all sorts of music ranging from folky singer/songwriter stuff to metal. Apart from the metal gigs for which I use a Randall I use the HRM for everything live.

The two chains are:

guitar > TC Electronic Polytune > Area 51 Wah >Digitech Whammy > Keely modded TS-808 > Amp

send > George Dennis Volume > TC Electronic Nova Systems > return,  and that goes through the Kleinulator as well.

and if needed I can also hook up a Heil Talk Box

On OTS fx send > TC Electronics Nova pedal> fx return.   For HRM everything else the same except that a C-lator with a Siemens longplate 12ax7 hiding inside for the secret weapon sauce.

I consider speakers/cabs to be effects if they are not part of an OEM build as a commercially procuced combo amp or dedicated external cab since they can be so variable in their design and overall effct on the volume and tone palette...  

So opening that can of worms, here goes the cab list excluding a few combo amps whick I could plug either head into:  1/15 OB/Altec 418B 16 ohms, 1/15 OB /Magnavox P232 8 ohms, 1/15 vintage semi closed back/Jensen Vibranto 15 8 ohms, 2/15 semi closed back/JBLG135 16 ohms, 2/12 D-style OB/Jensen Vibranto 12's 16 ohms, 2/12 D-style OB/custom hemp reconed Altec 600b's 16 ohms, old Peavey 2/12 modded to semi closed back/JBL g125's 16 ohms, Leslie G27 guitar cab w/ fast, slow, on, off speeds 8 ohms.  Man you oughta hear a sustained singing note when you turn on that spin in a Leslie, and on the lead channel if set aggressively the grind coming out of the horn will give you goose bumps.

For me, like I said earlier, I took almost all drives off my board.  Here's what it looks like now:
Guitar -> Turbo Tuner -> Teese RMC-3 Wah -> Octavia/FuzzFoot on Captain Coconut 2 (Great Pedal) -> Java Boost -> Stock DS-1 (just love this guy for lots of 90's alt rock, which was my music growing up) -> Amp
Loop = Clator + Provibe side of Capt Coconut 2 -> Hardwire DL-8 Delay -> Boss RC-2 Loop Station.

I do all kinds of music, mostly what I call melodic distortion.  Finger-picking or plectrum.

@Gregg: heard good things about the Tri-Boost, but have never used it.  The Java rocks because it uses the original Mullard chips in it and because it has a 3-way toggle for Full/Treble/Mid Boost frequencies.  Just using that and the tone knob on the pedal get me almost any sounds I'm looking for, paired with the amp's OD of course.  Oh yeah, the JBs can usually be had used for like $120, so they are a steal. 

I'd also recommend highly the Teese RMC-3 wah.  It has a full set of internal controls and DIPs that can basically make it into almost any wah ever created.  REALLY awesome wah, IMO.

Thanks, Stephen! I do alot of finger picking too, and alot of thumbpick/steel finger pick playing like Freddy King. Glad to see there is someone else out there that does!

The Triboost has a 3 way toggle on it as wee for the germanium setting. I was originally looking at either the Java Boost or Analogman's version of the Beano Boost, but since the Tri boost has three different clean boosts in it, it wins! I'll have to look into that Teese Wah. Sounds like a winner!
