Hi to all of you
new here, but I own a fantastic Overtone...
It's a 100version, custom wired form Nik when the 100w version was not even available, customized with trannies wounded on my specs here in Italy...
What you are going to listen is a HIGHLY ATIPICAL use for this amp, but I SWEAR YOU on what I've got of most treasurable and loved that is STRICTLY an overtone without any booster in front.
Only and I repeat, ONLY a Boss Ge7 in loop, use to replicate the classic "V" eq seen on most mesa mark amp...
it's ALL the amp's gain and an ibanez rg1527 with a EVO7 pickup in the bridge...
I know that its hard to believe, but it's true...

That doesn't suprise me since I know that Mesa Mark I and Overdrive special are not so diffrent and since I've seen the SPM's clip who make some High Gain sample of the Overtone.

Who was talking about the versatility of the overtone  Grin Grin  Wink ?

Nice Clip and nice playing Wink

A DT's fan I presume ^^ !

All I can say is if HAD was dead he'd be rolling over in his grave right now. As he's alive though I guess he'll just have to soil himself. I've never heard a D amp make tones like that! Sounded great!!
