Title: Amp to C-lator cable length?
Post by: h3i11 on April 26, 2011, 03:55:37 PM
Hello all! ;D

Just got my 100W OTS and that is really awesome!
Together, the C-lator kit will be done soon also!

However, what is the cable and cable length you guys suggest?
Both from amp to c-lator and c-lator to effect are considered...

Please help and thanks so much for all your suggestions!

There's some information in this thread regarding this. Other than quality shielded instrument cable this is an approach to take.

I've had the best result's with Mil-Spec RG-400 cable and Lava solderless (George L's or Planet waves) 1/4 cable ends.

The best method of finding what value is best for your amp is to get a bunch of pF caps (170pf to 330pF) to ground instead of cutting cable's etc.
