Title: A question about presence. Post by: hurtwoodec on November 19, 2011, 09:41:08 AM Guys, just wondering about how much impact the presence pot has over your amps? In my HRM bluesmaster it has very little effect. Is that cause, being on the master volume, if played at low levels it doesnt have much effect on overall sound?

More presence not only adds "sparkle" to your sounds, but it can also add more bass content as well and make the amps response stiffer over all as well. It may be more perceptible at higher volumes, though, or if you are using a c-lator and can get off of the bright caps on the masters.
