I was wondering if you can tell me what this switch does. I noticed on some build pics this switch is not even used. Why is that? Thanks! Title: Re: 1n2 Ground switch Post by: JD0x0 on January 25, 2010, 04:48:50 AM its a ground lift, reverse switch. it's not needed unless youre using two amps at once in which case you would need to lift the ground off one amp to eliminate hum.

Title: Re: 1n2 Ground switch Post by: erwin_ve on January 25, 2010, 08:01:30 AM FWIW: it's not wired and it's forbidden in EU /USA. The switch was connected to the hot wire for wall voltage and capacitor to ground. If the capacitor ever fails the chassis becomes the hot wire; very dangerous!
