What are experiences, opinions or ideas regarding using
2x6V6 and 2x6L6 power tubes when the amp is original at 4x6L6 tubes?

I'm sure there are tone/sound differences and if the tone change is desired,
then bias must be tweaked/adjusted.

But, would any part of the amp's circuit be damaged
or could there be "long-term" reprecussions towards any component?

***I've several Fender 100w amps and'll be buying
a couple of Ceriatone 100w amps in 2013.
