Have several 100w Fender amps.  Will be purchasing a Ceriatone Dumble clone and a Trainwreck clone.
Most Ceriatone amps have 100w and 50w options.

Question:
Are there good Hi/Low switch modifications or circuits that actually work?
Worth the time and money?
Won't ruin the sound/tone when not in use?

If I buy the 100w Ceriaton amps, are there modifications or switches
that will ACTUALLY reduce the volume by a true 50%?

I have read that most Hi/Low switches do not make a difference in volume when reduced.
Most of my playing time will need the 50w power, but on occasion, will need the 100w screamin' tones.

What do you think?
Anybody know of GOOD Hi/Low switch modifications or add-ons?

Thanks for reading.  Toppscore

***If there are no good viable products that are not a waste of time and money,
is my Weber Mass 200 the best option to "tame" the volume???

There is nothing that will reducer your volume by 50% unless you turn down by 50 %. It's the 3db law of physics. However a triode / pentode switch will reduce actual power, it also affects tone as well.
