Title: New guy wondering about my jtm45 clone.
Post by: Keefoman on August 16, 2010, 05:49:11 PM
Hi.
I'm a norwegian fellow who bought a jtm45 clone some time ago. I was just wondering if it is a Ceriatone.

Anyone who could confirm that it is/isn't?

Thanks in advance.

I cannot not confirm anything, you would have to email Nik these photos. The hand work in the chassis definitely looks like Ceraitone assembly. You do not see a lot of work that tidy. Some of the components seem odd To Me for a Ceriatone. The indicator light and impedance selector knob also look like non-Ceriatone parts. Maybe this was a very early build from Nik, and somebody slapped their logo on it with a few parts changes also.....?
It looks well made. How do you like it?
Best

It's a wonderful amp, especially after putting in TAD premium tubes all the way. The amp tech I use, was also very impressed by both the build-quality and the sound of this one, so I'm very satisfied.  :)
