Title: JTM45 Build
Post by: Evo on May 14, 2009, 11:12:38 AM
Hi
yesterday I finished building a JTM45.
I used marstran transformers and choke.
The chassis and board are from ceriatone.

The Led light kept me thinking... I finaly replaced it with a 8V bulb.
The chassis had all the right holes. PLus a lot extra that I didn't need :(
But I guess you won't see it when its in the cab. ;)

Sound clips will be posted soon.

I replaced the input resistors (carbon=noise) with metal resistors, and shielded wire.

I have always heard the name Marstran whenever guys talk about transformers, but I know nothing about them.  Were they pretty easy/helpful to deal with?

I've had Email contact with Brain Wallace from marstran.
He answered my questions, and helped me out just fine.
I'm happy doing business with him. So  :D
