Just ordered my JTM 50 Grin
I am gettin ready to order my mm trannies and I am thinkin of opting for one of their axiom sets that will allow me to run 6550's or kt88's. I had a superlead with 6550's and i loved it.
anyway opinions?

cant wait to post the finished amp!!!!

Don't know what current the stock Ceriatone's JTM50 trannies can provide, but the Marshalls sold in the US were designed to be loaded with 6550's stock throughout much of the '70's (I've heard tell the late '60's as well).  Marshall used UK-made EL34's in the UK but shipped the amps to the States tube-less and their US distributor would pop in the US-made 6550's.

kt88 should work fine. marshall put in kt88s, adjusted bias and called them park 75s and 150s

I am prob gonna mod this thing to more plexi 50 specs to get more of a heavy rock sound.
Like changing  the caps to 50/50.
the el34's may be just right i may just need to adjust other values as well
