Greetings everyone,

I'm a noob here and just ordered my JTM45 head yesterday form Nik and am excited to have finally taken the plunge. I've played an old 2150 Marshall 100W 1X12 combo, reissue Vibroverb and various Fenders for forever it seems and want to try out the classic JTM circuit.

Looking for that midrangy, honkin' tone similar to the Beano, and others...

Cheers!

Hi again,

I received my JTM45 from Nik exactly one week from when I ordered it! I can't compliment him and Ceriatone enough. He has always been super fast responding to my e-mails, answering my incredibly simple questions and his general patience is amazing!  Grin Here's a link to a YouTube video I uploaded a couple days ago. Its not perfect, playing-wise, but the tone is just great! To me, anyway.... Wink

A week? ONE WEEK!!! WTF! Why did mine take FIVE WEEKS?

Okay ... mine is a Bluesbreaker, which might account for some of the difference. But still.

Anyway, congrats on getting a killer amp. I'm still working through all the capabilities, but after a couple months I'm still freaked at how fine it sounds. And you made the right call going with the plain JTM45. The trem on the Bluesbreaker is useless. It just adds to the weight and chassis size (and slightly the cost) and it doesn't work. Go figure?

I built the 18 watt trem version for my first build, the trem worked but I didn't like it and swapped out the board for a TMB EF86. Didn't like that much either so I sold it but yeah, the trem was very ordinary. The JTM-45 is a fantastic amp I reckon.
