Can't wait to order my jcm800 with the PPIMV and half power switch! I've been playing for 12 years and now I can get the "sound" i've been hearing in my head. My first tube amp was a 1967 Fender Deluxe Reverb amp. I sold it because it didn't have any "gain" on it. At the time I didn't really know what it was but I sold it on ebay for 1600 in 2000. Every amp I had since didn't have that handwired rubbery feel to the guitar. I personally feel that a handwired amp "teaches" you how to play because of the "rubbery" feel it gives you. I had 2 crate blue voodoo combo's which were ok, a line 6 that was crap and sterile. Then I went with a full rack setup, ADA mp-1 into a midiverb 4 into a peavey classic 50/50 into a carvin 412 with 75 watt celestions, that setup was nice, but doesn't have the marshall grind i've been "hearing" in my head. I got rid of the rack setup and bought a vox tonelab because I was just frustrated with all the tone searching. Glad I found out about ceriatone! This is what I've been looking for! I play a charvel fusion deluxe and a fender classic series 70's strat.
