I heard that Ceriatone was doing a 2550 clone and was just checking out the kit. Ceriatone's 2550 is WAY nicer than the original amp. The Jubilee series sound great, but they're PCB construction with the pots mounted on the PCB. Adapting the Jubilee layout to turret boards was genius. What a great idea. Looks like an excellent build. I guess I'm going to have to go ahead and build one of these shortly.

Well, I never minded Marshall PCB construction on the JCM800 series, but when they started mounting the pots on the board with the Jubilees it just seemed especially cheap to me. I'd forgotten about the Jubilees being one of the newer Marshalls with the PCB-mounted pots, though.

But you're right, turrets are cooler, anyway!
